The stock is beautiful, but, it simply does not fit together properly. I bought this last November, 2017, for a TC Compass, but only just now got around to installing it and checking operation. When I tighten the front screw (which also serves to hold the front...

I recently purchased a varmit pro model for a cz455. The stock came with notice that small inletting could be required and such was the case. Just a clean up of burrs and some light sanding to give my particular gun the bedding I was happy with. When I took the gun to...

Boyds Gunstocks - Lamination split, will not warranty it after 30 days and 4 rounds
The weak area of the rear action screw split. you can see in the pictures. I had this stock for 30 days. During that time I bedded the front action screw and area. Because I did this, which only strengthens the stock, they will not warranty where the glue came lose on...

You've done work to it knowing it would void the warranty, then the stock split. That's not a them issue that's a you issue. By your picture it already looks like a thin area,...

Boyds Gunstocks - I've never had a problem with their stocks and we've ordered several. One thing I always do is check, double-check, then triple-check my order before I hit the buy button.
The left handed Boyd's Pro Varmint stock I ordered for my CZ 452 American was an excellent fit and makes the rifle far more usable in our rimfire F-class matches. This is also true with the Boyd's thumb hole stock I ordered for my Ruger 10-22 Magnum. I think some of...

I ordered a forearm from Boyd's . Paid with a money order since they state that they would not ship any order without payment. They held the payment for some 15 days. Informed me that they had to have it clear their bank first.(money order?) Then they shut down for...

Boyds Gunstocks - Nearly perfect for Savage Axis

Perfect replacement for my Savage AxisII. Drop in fit. Has a very good and solid feel and looks great. Just wish the included trigger guard and magazine catch was metal instead of plastic. Then it would be perfect. Even with the plastic parts I still love the stock. Sorry that some others have had issues, it is very unfortunate.
