Stock did not fit correctly!!! And NO help at ALL!!
Al I can say is WOW and Never again. Purchased a stock (2 piece forehand and the butt stock) to fit Browning Bar.
I got it in a timely manner. But when I tried to attached the Butt stock it would snug up, it was wobbly, so being in a rush with Fire-arm season around the corner, I wanted fixed then, I tried grinding where it wasn't fitting. Once I got it to fit correctly the bolt would not come all the way back to eject or put a bullet in the chamber. So I called Boyds customer service just to ask if they had any other issues with these and if they knew of any tricks to solve the problem.
The first the thing the young lady said is just send it back. I said I cant because I have grinded on it. She stated well you have voided the warranty there's nothing we can do. I stated I knew that I just wanted to know if they of any solution the problem.
Being I got mine and didn't fit I figured someone else with a BAR would have had same problem. Of course it has never been an issue and no one knew what to do. So I asked to speak to supervisor, oh course there wasn't one available so she took my name number and have one call me back. That was on 10/13/2015, haven't heard a word.
Also my Rifles been at the GunSmith for about 2 weeks. Thanks for nothing

Production floor shut down but they didnt tell me.

Worst Customer Service
Prior to selecting a stock, Gal in customer service said she don't shoot, & couldn't help me. Ordered a drop-in Gun Stock.
When it arrived, there was no instructions. I called and asked her to email the instructions. She said she couldn't do t until the next day. She told me there was a video on there website.
Unable to find it, I called back. She disputed it until she couldn't find it. she said there was one some were on YouTube, but couldn't tell me how to find it. She refused to let me talk to someone else who could help.
Never got the email instructions, unable to find the YouTube. Their Customer service the worst. Their rep is very Rude, condescending, & uncaring. She wont let you talk to anyone else!
One can only assume the company knows about her deficiencies, and cares less.
I was a bad experience. I would not recommend them to anyone...
Hands are tied
Well I placed an order at night after there 8:00am-4:30pm call time so I did it online, and well I will admit I messed up and chose the wrong action type. When I called the next day at 8:00am to change my order they told me that this wasn't allowed because my order had already been processed.
How can something be processed when there isn't anybody there to work and take care of customers?
So basically I am left with a stock that won't fit my rifle and the best advice the customer service rep could tell me is to sell it on Craigslist. So now I am stuck up *** creek with a gun stock that I can use for a paddle but not to shoot with.

I was the one who wrote this....I would like to add to this comment.
I was finally contacted by email and phone.
The young lady said that I had to give her information on the stock and the return number...blah blah blah...in other words, they lost my order and no one knew where my return went. Someone was also, "no longer working there". After sending and resending several copies of previous conversation and of the copied correspondences, I had to RESEND it for at least the fifth time.
Once they had the information, I had to send continual emails to get a response.
It was more than a month and a half before it was sent out for delivery.
IN OTHER WORDS...7 months to get their mistake corrected, to find out they may have had a thief/liar working for them, I had to prove it (thank gawd I stored all my correspondences), and no thank you for your business or we're sorry for the confusion.
Still haven't heard from ANYONE.
They got a decent product, but I may spend more money else where and have a product someone will stand by and not be so dang rude to me. RUDE PEOPLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I can't say the customer service reps were rude, but as far as never getting any calls returned and generally just being ignored, I totally agree. Really wish there was a way to reach someone higher in the organization, their customer service department needs to be completely gutted and replaced by people who understand the meaning of the term.
